Universe’s Ultimate BOSS - Chapter 147: Orbit Cannon
Chapter 147 Orbit Cannon
“That’s right. I’ll give you an orbit cannon if you give me ten bottles of dimensional drugs.” Qiu Linghan nodded and confirmed it.
“Do you have space missiles?” asked Wang Hao hurriedly.
Space missiles were designed to be launched by orbit cannons. With level-five damage, they could kill a Martial Emperor instantly.
Besides, orbit cannons could shoot faster than light. Once they locked onto a target, the target would be dead for sure unless he had a level-five energy shield.
But pitifully, orbit cannons were the top strategic weapon of the Universal Federation and unavailable on the market.
Nobody could acquire such a destructive weapon unless the leadership of the Universal Federation agreed.
“No!” Qiu Linghan shook her head with a smile.
“Seriously?” Wang Hao looked at Qiu Linghan in disbelief. Cannons without missiles were useless to him!
“However, I can sell them to you.” Qiu Linghan smiled. “With my identity, it won’t be a problem for me to buy space missiles for you.”
“How much does a space missile cost?” Wang Hao was ready to be ripped off. He did not believe that Qiu Linghan would buy space missiles for him unconditionally.
Qiu Linghan thought for a moment and chuckled. “Let’s say a space missile costs 300,000 interstellar coins.”
“Three hundred thousand interstellar coins?”
Wang Hao exclaimed in shock. That was way too expensive!
Interstellar coin was the currency on level-four planets and above. The exchange rate between the interstellar coin and the contribution point was 1:100,000.
So, 300,000 interstellar coins equaled thirty billion contribution points, and that was the price of a missile that could only be shot once.
“Do you want it or not? Just give me a straight answer,” said Qiu Linghan impatiently.
After hesitating for a moment, Wang Hao nodded. “I’ll have the orbit cannon!”
Although firing the cannon would be costly, he would have a way to deal with Martial Emperors, and he wouldn’t have to flee if he ran into them again.
“I’ll stay here tonight. The orbit cannon will be delivered to you tomorrow. Let’s make the deal tomorrow.” Qiu Linghan flashed and disappeared.
After Qiu Linghan left, Xiong Da glared at Wang Hao and snorted. “You are not an honest child at all.”
“You said you had none, but now you suddenly have ten more bottles.” Xiong Er also glared at Wang Hao.
“Just tell me the truth, how many more bottles do you have exactly?” asked Xiong San.
Wang Hao opened his hands innocently. “I really don’t have any now.”
Then, he whistled a tune and walked to his spaceship, leaving the three men where they were.
In the dean’s office, Hua Zixu glared at Qiu Linghan. He could not believe that she had sold an orbit cannon to Wang Hao. Was she hoping that Wang Hao would cause more trouble?
“Old Hua, don’t look at me like that,” Qiu Linghan said unconcernedly. “I have my own plans.”
“And what are your plans?” asked Hua Zixu angrily.
Qiu Linghan was not enraged. She said with a smile, “It has occurred to me that Wang Hao would thrive even without old guys like you covering for him. However, he’s truly a great troublemaker.”
Hua Zixu did not say anything, but he agreed with Qiu Linghan. Wang Hao’s modified spaceship had proved his capabilities outside of troublemaking.
Qiu Linghan suddenly said solemnly, “So, I’ve given Wang Hao an orbit cannon, hoping that he can visit the Glorious Sky Federation in Andromeda Galaxy.”
“Nonsense!” Hua Zixu roared and said coldly, “Qiu Linghan, I suggest you be careful. Wang Hao is Wang Tianyi’s only son. I’m certain that Su Mu will go crazy if you send Wang Hao there.”
“But nobody is more suitable for it than Wang Hao,” Qiu Linghan said calmly. “Wang Hao is a calm young man who can come up with a solution in any situation. His sly nature makes him the perfect guy to go to the Glorious Sky Federation.”
“I admit that Wang Hao is very suitable for the Glorious Sky Federation, but do you think that Su Mu will agree?” asked Hua Zixu coldly.
Qiu Linghan fell silent. Years ago, she had witnessed in person how much effort Su Mu spent to save Wang Hao from those nobles.
If anything were to happen to Wang Hao, nobody knew how Su Mu would react.
“I’ll persuade Su Mu later. Wang Hao will be fine as long as he doesn’t reveal his identity.” Qiu Linghan snorted and left the office.
Hua Zixu rubbed his eyebrow, feeling a headache. Did Qiu Linghan not know that the Glorious Sky Federation and the Universal Federation were sworn enemies?
“It seems that the old man is really dying, or Qiu Linghan wouldn’t be so hasty.” Hua Zixu sighed. “Let’s hope that Su Mu will agree! After all, Wang Hao won’t be in grave danger even if he can’t accomplish his mission.”
In his spaceship, Wang Hao was enjoying fruit with Little White in his arms.
Not far away, the Xiong brothers were staring at him gloomily, hoping to force Wang Hao to surrender the dimensional drug.
However, Wang Hao simply ignored them. As long as he did not give them the drug, they would continue to follow him, so he would have three Martial Emperors as his bodyguards for free. It was definitely a bargain.
“Boss, not good!” Qian Wanyang rushed to Wang Hao.
“What’s wrong?” asked Wang Hao curiously.
Qian Wanyang said anxiously, “Just now, a report was posted on the forum of the No. 3 school, stating that you were only tricking the students for their money by selling salty water as a dimensional drug.”
“That’s not wrong. What we sold was indeed fake. Just let them talk.” Wang Hao waved his hands unconcernedly.
Qian Wanyang was dumbfounded. Why was his boss always so perplexing?
They had tricked not dozens, not hundreds, but more than ten million students, whose saliva would’ve drowned them if the students all spat on them.
“Don’t worry. I’ve got you covered.” Wang Hao chuckled. “Find Zhuo Chao for me now. I’m going to get all of the students’ money this time.”
Qian Wanyang secretly felt sorry for the students. He had no doubt that Wang Hao could claim all their money, because history had taught him that Wang Hao’s money-making abilities were truly terrifying…
