I’ll Be The Warrior’s Mother - Chapter 270
Yelena studied her husband’s neat and graceful face.
He seemed like he didn’t even know what he was saying.
Apparently, her husband was more nervous than she had initially thought.
Why? For a moment, that seemed incredibly endearing to Yelena, and she fought the urge to laugh.
Her fingertips tingled.
Then, the wine glass on the side table suddenly came into Yelena’s field of vision.
“Ah.”
She realized that some wine was left. Just a little.
“Do you want some wine?”
“…Can’t we have it later?”
“Just a sip. It actually tastes good, so I thought…”
In truth, she had an idea in mind, and brought up the wine as an excuse.
Yelena moved to grab the glass from the side table.
She then tilted the glass, took a small sip of the remaining wine, and immediately met Kaywhin’s lips with her own.
“…!”
Gulp.
The wine flowed down Kaywhin’s throat as his Adam’s apple bobbed.
Yelena slightly parted her lips and asked,
“How is it, does it taste good?”
“…With just this,”
Kaywhin said, staring intently at the wine lingering on Yelena’s lips.
“With just this, I can’t really tell. I think I need to take another sip to know the taste.”
“Really?”
Well, if that’s the case, there’s nothing that can be done.
Yelena took another sip of the wine.
Eventually, the two of them emptied the remaining wine entirely.
The empty glass rolled and fell onto the carpet under the bed.
Yelena’s body leaned back, her back touching the soft mattress of the bed.
The kissing resumed. Each time they frenetically exchanged saliva and breath, her head seemed to grow fuzzy.
“So then…”
While her mind was becoming muddled, Yelena tried to recall content from the books about marital relationships she had pored over during sleepless nights in the past.
However, whether it was due to the intoxication of the wine or some other reason, nothing particularly clear came to mind.
Just one thing.
Clothes.
The first thought that came to her was that they should take off their clothes.
Yelena raised her hand and pushed Kaywhin away.
Kaywhin hesitated but then obediently moved back, parting his lips.
Questions appeared in his heat-filled blue eyes.
“Why…”
Instead of answering, Yelena sat up in bed, leaning on it for support. She then reached for the buttons on Kaywhin’s shirt.
Only then did Kaywhin realize what Yelena was trying to do and quietly kept silent.
Yelena fumbled several times.
The shirt buttons were harder to unfasten than she’d thought.
‘…Are they always this difficult to undo?’
It must be because she’s nervous.
Even though she knew that it would be easy if she just stayed calm, her hands didn’t move as her heart wished.
With her repeated fumbling, it took her quite some time to unfasten just two buttons.
Seeing Yelena struggle with his shirt buttons, Kaywhin seemed conflicted for a moment before gently taking her hands away.
Then, with his other hand, he ripped open his own shirt.
Snap!
The remaining buttons were torn off all at once, and the front of his shirt instantly became tattered.
Yelena’s eyes widened.
“Is this okay?”
“…It doesn’t matter.”
After all, it’s not like he’s running out of new clothes.
While Yelena was coming to terms, Kaywhin’s shirt fell to one side of the bed.
The lighting that brightened the bedroom was soft.
Under the dim light, her husband’s bare upper torso was revealed.
Yelena swallowed a dry lump in her throat for a moment.
Upon seeing her husband’s body, tightly filled with muscles, her mouth suddenly felt as dry as if she’d been thrown into a desert.
Unable to take her eyes off his well-formed body, Yelena inadvertently reached her hand toward his chiseled abs.
As she ran her fingers along the tightly packed, sculpted muscles, a suppressed moan escaped from Kaihyun’s mouth.
Yelena was startled by the moan and quickly pulled her hand away.
Her heart was pounding wildly, and the tips of her fingers that had touched her husband’s body felt hot.
An unidentifiable warmth welled up in her stomach.
‘…My, clothes.’
Could this feeling be anticipation?
Feeling a burning thirst, anxiety, and tingling excitement, Yelena hesitated before speaking.
“You take them off.”
Negligees and a thin slip were scattered in a corner of the bed.
The sheets touched her back again, which was bare of even a thread.
Yelena’s cheeks flushed.
The sensation of exposing her unclothed body to someone else felt unfamiliar.
“…Why are you looking at me like that?”
Her husband’s gaze intensified her unfamiliar sense of embarrassment.
Kaywhin, who had been as if engraving Elena’s undressed body into his vision, licked his lips.
“You’re so petite, my wife, it’s striking.”
