System Update June 3, 2024 (Advanced TTS)

Hello dear readers,

I would like to share with you the changes made with a small update released today.

In the advanced search and filtering page, a field is defined for you to enter the tags you want to exclude. In this way, you will filter the novels that you do not want to see in the results.

Since the browser-based TTS voice function does not work properly in every browser, I have been working on the development for a while to provide a permanent solution and finally I completed it.

This new version will work like you play an audio file on a player. Since it is browser independent, it will work in any browser that runs javascript.
Since the content of the novel chapters is quite long, processing the content and converting it into a single audio data would take time and consume resources. As a solution, the content will be divided into parts and the parts will be played sequentially on the player. As an advantage, you will be able to follow the paragraphs of the current track with autofocus on the screen while the audio track of the chapter is playing.

It has been defined to a novel section so that you can try and observe the feature.
Go to the episode page to experience it. (Limited time, will be removed later)

This new feature will only be available to subscribed supporters. Unfortunately I don't have enough server resources and extra effort power to activate it for all users.

    Admin, there will be april fools update or no? Could do some trolls like changing the famous novels of this site's cover and adding some funny things to it, I've seen other sites do that

    Anyone know how use audio function in the offline mode of the app in the previous version it was working fine but in the latest version it doesn't work

    I have a question what can we do to be able to update novels that had not been updated. I want to update "under the oak tree", I emailed the email provided but had gotten no response.

      I want 'the fated villain' to be updated past the current manga. There is a 1200 chapter translation (by Fated) but when I mentioned it it was thought of an mtl... There might be other reasons for your novel not being updated. Patreon exclusivity, change of website rights over the original work. Or plain hiatus. Like my example Patreon exclusivity is forcing the free chapters of the novel to be 20 chapters behind the manhwa.

    while i agree with the need to restrict “Off topic” and possibly even irrelevant comments on novels. Unless “Off topic” doesn’t have an even more defined description, any comment which is lets say relevant with the history, mythology, economics, etc subjects which we readers have information about lets say and can try to enrich the perspective being presented in the novel (by author probably using the same info) shouldn’t be considered a pointless comment. besides some comments about an event/subject can be given to relate/interpret better the novel in between its readers.

    Hello Dear Admin. The person below known as loverlordura has disliked my comments for the past month or so. if you look at my account even once you'd see his dislikes are there everyday. Not once did bro quit spam disliking me and I've ignored him for a month straight but now it's just getting annoying. If I know the rules then abusing like/dislike button might get you banned or with just a warning.

    I wanna ask one more time. Is it possible to switch the tl for 'I am the fated villain'? From patreon only demon tl to fated tl? Fated has an available tl for 1200+ chapters while demon to is behind the web toon and has 283 free and 540 paid. I am not asking for mtl to be added just a different translation to continue the stories. (Hopefully I don't get a warning or ban for mentioning translator groups)

    Oh yeah netherclaw can add some form of announcement so the community can branch out?? Like letting readers go to lectorum as a first step/telling older or higher lvl readers first etc and going from there? Off topic can be frustrating but doubling down will create backlash so best to divert and throw us a bone (according to sick) that way readers can go to reader managed servers instead of being off topic here and there’s no actual promotion if it’s an announcement or you allow the mention of lectorum nexus.
